5 Easy Paleo Diet Recipes
If you haven’t tried it yet, the paleo diet is more than just a fad because it’s actually sustainable long-term and there are a ton of amazing recipes that will totally keep you satisfied. I put it under the abs diet food category because it’s awesome at helping you strip away fat while still nurturing a healthy eating approach.
What’s interesting about Paleo is that it’s more of a perspective shift. An approach to food by cutting out all the processed crap and focusing on real raw and natural foods and because of this it’s hard to criticize, and in fact many who try it love how it changes their overall perspective with foods they consume.
Here are some interesting facts about the paleo approach…
The Paleo Diet Philosophy
The paleo diet is based on the fact that grains (such as wheat, oats, and rice) were introduced into our species’ diet relatively recently – about 10,000 years ago. This may sound like a long time, but considering we’ve been around for a couple million years, it’s a drop in the bucket.
Until that point, our diet during the paleolithic era (hence the name paleo) was entirely wheat and grain free, composed mainly of meats, fish, nuts, seeds, eggs, and fruits and vegetables.
