Getting ripped, six pack abs is one of the most common fitness goals out there. But it’s no easy task without the right plan in place.
A toned midsection essentially takes the right combination of diet and exercise. But I’m going to break it down for you, and get to the nitty gritty of it all. There are a number of specific ab-building strategies that can get you results in half the time.
Remember, getting abs is about more than doing crunches! Ab exercises will build your abdominal muscles, but in order to see them, you have to trim the fat off your waistline!

How to Get Ripped Abs in 7 Easy Steps
Step 1 to Ripped Abs: Start Doing Cardio – Before you do anything else, you need to start moving your body. You can’t target fat loss, which means you need to think about overall calorie expenditure. Step 2 to Ripped Abs: Cut the Fat – The next thing you need to do is clean up your diet. Before you get to what you should eat, you need to think about what you shouldn’t – and that’s fat and sugar. Trans and saturated fats, like those found in greasy and fried foods, are going to make your efforts at the gym impossible. And sugar is no better – if it’s not all used up, it’s converted into fat deposits. Try and focus on Omega 3 fats as much as you can as these help with metabolism and brain-power alike.

The more muscle mass you have, the more fat you’ll burn when at rest.
