This plan is a building foundation to what you need, especially if you are a beginner looking for some help in understanding how to achieve your goals.
Sam’s meal plan, along with recipes, debunks very common misconceptions that people have about what is more effective: working out or eating healthy. You will find some simple yet important things to keep in mind before you start.
You will read and understand how it is important not to have a steel cut and number based approach towards your goals and that building habits will determine your success in getting your desired results.
Sam provides support and motivation in lots of ways as you will see in the meal plan. You can find motivation through his social media pages, as well as through some self help strategies by keeping yourself accountable; such as his food log and food diary, which are highly recommended but optional.

Being a health and fitness enthusiast, and a strong believer of eating healthy to be healthy, I find this meal plan is helping me gain lean muscle mass. I do have some recommendations, however. Foods with labels such as low fat or fat free foods, in my knowledge can do more harm than naturally fatty foods and would recommend opting for products that are exempt of these labels.
Additionally, I feel that the prescribed recipes will be most beneficial to people who already know and understand very well, the science behind achieving their fitness goals. While highly motivated people will be able to pull through with slight limitations to flavor and taste, people seeking more taste and pleasure in what they call “boring food” will find it a little hard to follow through completely. They may or may not thoroughly enjoy sticking to the meal plan after the week.
For that purpose, I suggest introducing some more interesting recipes that break people’s misconceptions about healthy food being boring. Another recommendation is to include a cheat meal recipe for both male and female clients. I found that the men’s meal plan has a healthier cheat meal at the end, where as women do not have any.
It is my belief that everybody, especially people that are new to meal planning and health and fitness will need some space to let go in order to come back and enjoy eating healthy so as to create these habits willingly. Lastly, creating a visual aid for each recipe, I find, will add more value to the meal plan, making it even more appetizing to people.
