It has the antioxidants which is great, just doesn't have the caffeine which can help a little with metabolism and a little appetite suppression. Some studies are now showing caffeine to also help facilitate protein uptake by muscles so can be good for recovery, I'm still looking for more research to back this up.

Great Mohamed, keep up the great work. You can definitely save yourself some calories and eliminate the sugar from the green tea, you'll find after a while that you won't feel like you need it anymore. Alternatively you can try stevia. More info on stevia here - http://weightlossandtraining.com/stevia-sweetner

Hi Sam,

am 25 years old seeking to be healthy and having that nice body. i used to smoke and just sit at home for the whole day on my computer doing nothing, eating fast junk food that made my belly go huge the past 2 years. i decided to stop "Junk food, smoking & drinking soda" it was hard but i did it and now for a month. found ur website by a chance, its looks friendly and i liked the green tea idea, will go get some and drink as i will do anything to have the right body for me.

I just had a question right now, i normally have 3 pieces of sugar on my normal cup of tea, shall i use some on the green tea too ?? or it will be better without any ??

Look at the ingredients to see what kind of additives they have put in it. Generally if it's pure and natural stuff you are going to get a better product. Also if you can find fresh green tea from a local market then that will mostly likely be the best.

Hi Engy, yes Green tea is a great drink to switch to from coffee as it also provides the antioxidants. With that said try and stick to having the green tea during the day and only non-caffeinated drinks in the evening/nights so you can sleep well.

Dear Sir, i am very pleased to subscribe in your esteemed 5-days course,
by your advice regarding the green tea,you give me a solution to one of my biggest problems which is drinking more than 5 cups of coffee to stay alert and in a high energy mood.
I will begin to decrease the Caffeine amounts by the increase usage of the green tea.
But i would like to know how the caffeine finally sap our energy? and whether switching to green tea will be the best solution or do you suggest something more?

Hi Brandi, you're right with the fresh and less processed the better. White tea is said to have a little more antioxidants than green tea but I believe both are pretty good and trying to focus on freshness is more important.

Hi Jasmine, white tea is great you’re right, give it a try the flavour is nice and light so a great way to mix it up. Acai berries are very high in antioxidants and a great way to help boost your immune and recovery system so the benefits could be substantial especially if you replace this with unhealthy fast foods. I’d love to hear your feedback on the results.

Great thanks for your feedback. There's really no way to spot-reduce but you can definitely try doing extra arm workouts and see how that affects them. Try and focus on high repetitions and low weights and also reduce your rest period between sets. The next best thing is to watch your diet very carefully in that you cut out a lot of junk food especially foods high in processed sugars. Keep us updated!

Definitely best to take it in the morning if you can right before your meal, otherwise noon is the next best option.

Hi Sam,

So I bought the Primaforce Lean Green Tea Extract, the directions say to take two pills a day prior to a meal. What are the best times of the day to take these supplements? Also is it better to take it before or after a meal? (I also workout in the evening)

Thanks

This is a great topic to talk about with your physician. From what I've gathered a little caffeine is not too bad for pregnant women as long as it is kept below a cup of coffee a day and I believe green tea would be even a little healthier. While your pregnant it's a great reason to give your body a break from all stimulants and unhealthy processed foods.

Most likely because of the caffeine in the green tea. Try reducing to 1 cup and space out the time between having more tea.

You can try white tea instead to get the same level of antioxidants and not as much caffeine. Otherwise, speak with your physician about this, you are probably best waiting until you are off your diet pills. Alternatively you can also try Acai Juice for increasing the level of antioxidants in your diet - http://weightlossandtraining.com/benefitsof-acaiberry

Hi, i am taking a prescribed diet pill but i have been hearing so many great things about green tea. I wanted to add this to my program but i was wondering if i should try something mild without as much caffeine being that i am already taking a pill every day. If so, what would be a good recommendation?

Hi Vikki, you are right white tea does have less caffeine than green tea and yet has all the antioxidants so if you are sensitive to caffeine then white tea would be a good alternative. Also right on not adding sugar to your tea, instead try lemon/lime juice or even fresh mint.

I like green tea but try to avoid caffeine due to pre-menopausal symptoms so would white tea be as effective? Someone told me it has less caffeine. Is that true.? Also I am assuming you mean to drink the tea bag green tea with out adding sugar right?

I've been drinking the green tea, I find I really like several varieties. Stash has a green chi tea that is so good hot or iced. I have a question. We have mint that we have grown outside our house. It's our family's favorite summertime drink. I simply cut a bunch, wash it well and brew it in my ice tea maker. It is so very refreshing.
My question is this: Would this be considered a "green tea?" My limited research has not revealed the answer.
