Excellent, great to see it starting to give results to some people already!

Jacynta, interesting that some people in Australia think protein is over rated. Perhaps they are not looking at the whole picture and specific diets to see what is missing.

With that said it is always advisable to check with a certified nutritionist on your specific needs (particularly if you have any food allergies). Everyone is different and their bodies may react differently but my recommendation is to slowly introduce protein shakes into your diet. Start off with one a day, then maybe make it 2 the next week.

As you do this you will also find that you are more full before your meals so you can now have smaller meals. I generally don't have more than 3 a day as I really enjoy eating other foods as well!

Good idea for a night snack to curb your carb cravings and supply amino acids for your muscles to recover at night. They are extra calories though so do take that into consideration.

I think it's helping me!
I add it to my oatmeal each morning- it sustains me until lunch & I've noticed that my belly flab is really starting to go away since I began this.
I didn't know all the other info though- thanks!

just done a circuit which i know would suit mums who's kids are now past buggy stage and like to walk a bit...
I take my 18 month old to the park and on the way to the playground me do slow jogging... i do small steps so little fella can keep up.
When we get to the playground there are exercises which i like to do whilst he is playing.... i play along with him and have fun too!

Swings: push the child on the swing and do a squat in between each push
Swings: push the child and do lunges in between each push
Swings: oblique stretch in between each push
Small climbing frame: jumping jacks peekaboo. child is stood on climbing frame and as i jump he can see me i shout peekaboo! He laughs!
Big climbing frame: hang on the monkey bars
Big climbing frame: pull ups
Roundabout: oblique twists when pulling it around
Run from each piece of equipment and play chase!
you get an hour of exercise in very quickly, and go early in the morning to avoid an audience!

I did lose 8lbs on the South Beach Diet as well as concieve my first born! (I was barely over weight when I went on the diet according to my BMI number 3 years ago) I do like the diet but have chosen to eat numorous foods that are considered 'bad' for you. I would recommend it more for those who have a considerable amount of weight to lose or have health issues that are motivating them to lose weight.

Hi Laura, thanks for the update. Yes spam filters are really tricky these days, I have to remind myself to check my spam folders every once in a while and I always see one or two emails I actually really wanted so it's a bugger!

Glad you like the web site and facebook group. I am definitely going to keep the group going as we have an amazing community of people such as yourself. This web site is just an extension and will allow for me to go more in detail with content and also add images, videos and give away a lot of freebies in my newsletters!
