Killer Chest and Triceps Workout

Killer Chest and Triceps Workout
Earlier today I tweeted about doing a killer chest and triceps workout and many asked me what the routine was, so I thought I’d write this article.
First off I should mention that this is an advanced routine and you should only attempt it if you have been training for a good 6 months. You should also do a 6 minute warm-up on the treadmill or elliptical machine to get your joints and muscles ready for these repetitive movements.
I’m going to reference the weights I use but you should definitely scale this depending on your experience and body size.

Truth About Six Pack Abs Review
Lately there’s a ton of super popular health books on the internet and I thought it was time to do a little investigation of my own to see how good these books really are. For the first review I thought I’d take a look at is one that many people have asked me about in the past – Truth About Six Pack Abs by Michael Geary.
It’s got a great title, and I remember hearing an interview a month ago where Michael was talking about how he came up with the best selling title. Michael actually fell into the personal training business over a decade ago and the question he got asked most about was about getting 6 pack abs. Therefore, it only made sense to include “abs” in the title of his book. I have to agree with him on this one, some of the most read and discussed articles on Weight Loss and Training are about abs.

Demi Moore Diet and Workout Plan
Having starred in films like G.I. Jane, Striptease and Charlie’s Angels, Demi Moore has proven to the world that it’s still possible to have a killer body at the age of 46! Sure you may think that plastic surgery has helped a lot, but without a lot of dedication to healthy eating and continuous training all that artificial work would have been lost in a couple months.
So trying to find exactly the training routine that Demi has gone through will all these roles was quite interesting. My research shows that she has tried every diet and workout plan imaginable. Some have reported her of doing pilates, yoga, cycling plus carb-lovers diet, raw food diet and even the Zone Diet.

Oblique Exercises
Since your oblique muscles are used in pretty much every form of exercise and sport this article is going to shed some light on how we use them and how to strengthen them. After all, they give your mid-section a very nice shape and help your reduce the strain on your lower back.
In case, you’re not familiar with where your obliques are, they are the large muscles on the side of your waist and are broad and thin and extend right to your ribs. They are considered part of your “core muscles” along with your abs and lower back muscles.
For most people and especially women, the oblique muscles are hidden by subcutaneous fat deposits so you may already be guessing what I’m going to talk about next….

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
I thought it was time to write an article about taking your interval training to the next level. You may have already heard about HIIT training but not known what it was about. HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training and is a killer form of cardio used by people who want to burn fat quickly with really intense workouts.
In other words, if you are just starting out this is not the right type of training for you. This is the kind of training that can make inexperienced people get nauseous and very light-headed so be warned! I would recommend this only to athletes and really fit individuals who have been training consistently for at least 6 months in a row.
With all that said let’s look at an example of HIIT and what it consists…

Abdominal Workout
Whether you want to hit the beach and have abs that really turn heads or you just want to feel good when you look in the mirror, abdominal muscles are a point of fixation for many! The problem is that we need to have a very low body fat percentage in order for our six pack muscles to really show, so only having a killer abdominal workout won’t be enough.
In fact, your body fat needs to be probably below the 10% mark in order to look like you have super ripped abdominals!
Now one thing worth mentioning right away here is that most body fat calculations made by machines in gyms these days are extremely inaccurate. These machines can have a percentage of error as much as 18%. In other words, it can give you a reading of 10% but you may actually have 28% body fat!
