4 Foods That Should Be Included In Your Diet

Everybody wonders what essential foods should be included in their diet if they want to lose fat and build lean toned muscle.

You want things that still taste great, but are cheap to buy and help meet your macronutrient goals, right?

The following four foods should be the main staples in anybodies diet.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is one of the most commonly eaten complex carbs by bodybuilders or people looking to put on muscle. All you have to do is cook it with warm water (some people just add water or skim milk to it and eat it raw). You can add honey, fruit, cinnamon or any other number of toppings to make it taste great!

Chicken

Chicken, and even turkey, are some of the leanest protein sources around. They are relatively cheap, easy to cook, and taste great. You can eat it plain or dress it up with condiments or marinades. Skinless chicken should be a staple in your diet especially if you want to lose fat in your midsection.

Eggs

If there was one food that I could survive on for the rest of my life, it would be eggs. This combination of protein and fat can be prepared in so many different ways that you can never get bored of it.  Hard boiled, poached, fried, scrambled, or even in omelet form with lots of hearty veggies – eggs are truly a super-diet-food!

Olive Oil

Olive oil is one of the best ways to get healthy fats in your diet. It doesn’t matter how you eat it – you can have it on your whole wheat pasta, you can use it to make salad dressing, some people even drink it out of a shot glass. Olive oil is one of the easiest ways to get healthy fats in your diet.
